being a dom is only cool if people like you. otherwise it’s super embarrassing. if you’re a sub you can be like “ahhh i wanna get fucked superrr hard >w<” and it’s kind of endearing. if you’re a dom and you say “i want to FUCK someone.. who will be mommys little KITTY today ..” and no one actually wants to have sex with you, you may as well kill yourself. because there’s no coming back from that
callback to the time I wrote literal pages of lore and worldbuilding, including a universe with a creation story, afterlife metaphysics, and a timeline featuring the rapture, a divine astral plane turf war, and the introduction of gods and magic to the modern mortal world
for a kink scene where I roleplayed as a sexy demon lady
I workshopped my character’s name, voice and personality and wrote an entire universe to hold her. for a scene that lasted about an hour. if that’s not DMing but for sex I don’t know what is
your honor ive been murdered
Good news: At that level of prep I don’t think it’s improv anymore.
Bad news: turned on by amateur theater

Sooo, I saw the Barbie movie yesterday. Thoughts (and spoilers) below:
********************************
• Honestly? It was better than I thought it would be.
• This film was an absolute trainwreck. But in a good way???
• It violently swings between being fun, goofy, playful, and being almost too real for comfort. And every time it gets too real, we try to repress it. Barbie tries to repress it. Gloria tries to escape just a little. When the world gets too much for us, we escape via make belief. We play with barbies. But Barbie does not belittle that escapism, but instead positions it as a real source of inspiration and change.
• So yes, this film was scarily relatable at times. Not even just in Gloria’s monologue. But also when Barbie says she is afraid in the real world, or when she says she is not good at anything. Those things hit hard.
• On the brighter side, this film was also delightfully gay. Not explicitly, but implicitly in so many moments. Romance between Barbie and Ken does not happen. In fact, no straight romance really happens. AT ALL. The Kens hold hands and find each other very cool. Barbie and Gloria are in love at first sight and become an annoyingly cute couple which their teenage daughter could barf at (not much interpretation is needed for this take, believe me). There is a tender make-up scene. Their song is “closer to fine” by the Indigo Girls.
• Ken takes over Barbieland because he was friendzoned. Yes, there are other reasons too, but I feel like the ‘man who is friendzoned and does NOT handle it well’ really touched on something.
• The film also makes a point that matriarchy, too, is unfair. Barbie was not so much better than Ken when the barbies were in charge, and that argument too needs to be heard.
• Nevertheless, President Barbie is everything, especially when she gets censored by Mattel.
• Kate McKinnon as weird Barbie was also everything. Like. The movie is queer to me just for having Kate McKinnon in it. But for so many other reasons, too.
• I loved Helen Mirren as narrator. She is just one of those women we can all look up to.
I GOT A FUCKING RAISE THE POTATO WORKED WTF
This potato works. Every. Fucking. Time.
Reblogging because it’s a damn potato and I want to encourage people to assume potatoes are magical.

I made a little clothing guide for some Dragon Age regions
Some may not be exactly the same as the references that appear in the game or in the concepts, but I wanted to give a little of my vision to the guide.
Ferelden
Ferelden is close to the Frostback Mountains and Orlais and as Leliana and Zevran once said, Ferelden is cold, so I thought it would be a cool idea to put on thick clothes with a lot of fur so the Fereldans can protect themselves from the cold.
Tevinter
Dragon Age 4 is approaching and it’s already evident that we’re going to be in the Tevinter Imperium, so I thought I’d give a “redesign” to the look we already know, I know that some like what we see in the game, I like it too, but like I said at the beginning “I want to give my vision”
Yes, I know, almost everything Game of Thrones, but in my defense I must say that Game of Thrones fashion is incredibly Tevinter vibes
Orlais
We’ve already seen in the game and in the concept art that Orlais is all about being flamboyant and flashy and what’s more flamboyant and flashy than mid-1500s fashion?
Antiva
Home to the two loves of my life, Zevran and Josephine, Antiva fashion is something I really love… The puffy arms, the breast-enhancing corsets, the leather vests, idk, I just like Antiva
Nevarra
I don’t exactly have much to say about nevarra, but I did some research and found some concepts that I thought were interesting so I chose some clothes that I think would go well with the region
Frostback Basin
In Inquisition we can see that the clothes they wear are quite furry and well protected from the cold, so I think it would be a good idea to inspire some of their clothing in Inuit clothing
For now these are just a few ideas I have about the clothing regions, but maybe I’ll come back with more soon? Who knows? But I hope this helps someone who wants to make some fanart about the regions I mentioned
Ooooh can I play too?
Orzammar
The dwarves are a very striated society and strive to be as fancy as possible to show their caste and rank. And they want to show off their mineral wealth. This makes me think late stage Byzantine.
Minus the crosses of course.
Par Vollen
I know they tend to have Qunari in pretty skimpy clothing, but for the humans and elves and such that still get sunburned, they’d probably wanna cover up more. Par Vollen seems to (from what we’ve seen) seems to have some middle eastern influences. How about some historical Ottoman Empire looks?
The Dalish
As a nomadic people with a very close bond to their beasts of burden, that strikes me as Mongolian. I might be getting this wrong, but I think this type of fashion is known as Huunu?
eye-opening tumblr post for me included the words “people are meant to be burdens” as in humans rely on and support one another and it’s not a bother it’s our purpose; to love and be loved in return. so if you ever think you’re being annoying just remember we were made to love and it’s going to be okay
